Edgar's Tea Party @ The Lansdowne

Here's a poster I've created for the Lansdowne  for Edgar's Tea Party, an event in support of Edgar's Gift, a charity that helps young adults suffering with cancer.

Your Space Business Cards

Business card I designed for Avtar's Carpentry, Painting and Decorations company. If you're looking for reliable quality workmanship... he's your man!

The Green Place

It was great to be contacted by Leicester's 'complete wasters' not only because it was a lovely job but also it was great to find out more about the work they do.

The Complete wasters are a not-for-profit organisation who work on community recycling and environmental projects. They're based in Sileby in their fantastic eco haven 'The Green Place'. (See below for all they offer there.) I was lucky enough to visit last week and I can highly recommend the small train journey (or even better the lovely cycle ride via Watermede park) for an afternoon there.

They also provide recycling for festivals and are always looking out for reliable volunteers. Find them  on Facebook or visit their website for more details.

Active Mums

Another enjoyable commission from Brighton. Lenka who runs a personal training and group fitness sessions contacted me for a flyer advertising her 'Active Mums' sessions. If you're a mum in the Brighton area I suggest looking her up; her sessions look fun and a chance to take in some of that sea air with your youngsters in tow. You can visit her website here or see all the details in the flyer I created for her below.

The Speakeasy Sessions at the Obar

This was a commission from the Orange Tree group for a new regular session at the Obar, Leicester. The launch party features Leicester favourite's By the Rivers.

Zoe's Biscuit Tin

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Zoe who contacted me after seeing Jessica's Born and Bread business cards. She commissioned me to design these labels for her delicious homemade Marshmallows. Sadly (for us) she's now taken herself and her marshmallow-making to a far away shore however she has said she will be in contact when she has herself set up so I may have just found myself my first overseas customer!

Leicester Cycling Campaign Group

A recent  exciting development in Leicester's cycling culture is the LCCG Leicester's own cycling campaign group.

With an aim to make Leicester's cycle facilities usable by all they were created late last year by a group of volunteers and are already doing great work.

I was very pleased to be able to volunteer my graphics skills to the group.

If you'd like to get involved or just show your support you can become a member for just £2. If you'd like to meet the group you can see them at each month's Critical Mass or go along to the meetings on the first monday of the month at 7pm at the Exchange bar. Or alternatively just follow their progress online via their Facebook page or their Website.
